    The large communal breakfast table felt too crowded. Some of the common areas were not as clean as I expected given the high reviews, which detracted from the overall comfort of the stay.

    There were exceptionally comfortable beds and coffee/tea making machines, multi-channel television and a sitting area in the suite. The location of this beautifully kept and absolutely incredible hotel was fab, in a beautiful setting.

    Breakfast at Castledale was a culinary dream! Fresh, local ingredients turned every meal into an epic feast. Our Penthouse Apartment was straight-up luxurious, with fine views of the gardens that left us buzzing with excitement!

    Only minor quibble? A towel rack would've been handy, but with everything else shining, it's barely a blip on the radar!

    We had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the cozy fireplace in our room and the refreshing morning coffee on the terrace. The garden was a perfect spot for relaxing walks and soaking up the sun. Just keep in mind there wasn't much space to set our bags down, but it didn't ruin the awesome vibe! ☕

    really good stay but missing USB ports

    Our penthouse apartment was fine and showed off beautiful views of the manicured gardens. The warm welcome from Gerry, and the space was impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. The grounds were a lovely escape, with several seating areas perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning sunshine.

    It would have been nice to have USB ports for charging devices.
